Gold Coast-based, abstract artist and graphic designer Cherise Vecchio is a self-taught artist. Passionate about working with vibrant colour dissolved into multiple layers, her work explores the deeper meaning behind everyday beliefs, inter-dimensional worlds and the unknown. Cherise loves large-scale work and uses her practice as a visual journal. This is achieved by painting in multiple layers and utilising mixed media, drawing in the observer’s attention to find deeper meaning and hidden worlds within.
